Why LLMs are not the answer to Engineering Firms

Language models don't need to be that large to produce accurate results:

• Programmers have been developing SLMs for long time, using the beloved Python programming language
• LLMs due to their goals require models with millions of parameters
• In contrast, engineering firms only need thousands of parameters to train their models
• Good to remember that Google Colab, Kaggle Datasets, Python, JupiterNotebook, others, have been around before ChatGPT appeared
